more Dan is passionate about serving as a trusted financial advisor and investment manager for individuals and families. Having worked with hundreds of people as an investment banker and private equity investor, he witnessed how challenging it was for colleagues and clients to manage busy careers and families while making the right financial/investment decisions. It was also apparent that much of the financial services industry drives consumers into all the wrong choices for investments, life insurance, mortgages, and other key financial decisions. There are excellent financial options out there and Goldberg Financial Advisors, LLC was started to help clients make the right choices, secure their financial future, and achieve peace of mind with their investments.

Dan's areas of expertise are investments, portfolio management, and financial planning. Within the investment world, Dan specializes in evaluating individual company stocks as well as exchange traded funds (ETFs) and mutual funds that hold stocks, bonds, real estate, and commodities. The above investment products are used to achieve diversification and maximize returns while minimizing fees and tax liabilities. Financial planning subject matter includes life insurance, retirement planning, home purchase/finance, and estate planning.

Prior to founding Goldberg Financial Advisors, LLC, Dan worked for approximately 15 years as an investment banker, private equity investor, and corporate finance executive. Dan started his career as an investment banker with Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc, (now JP Morgan Chase) providing corporate finance and M&A advisory services to companies in the healthcare, gaming, and lodging industries. Next Dan joined Platinum Equity, LLC, a $3B private equity firm based in Los Angeles. At Platinum Equity, Dan led portfolio management efforts across multiple industries. Most recently, Dan was a corporate finance executive at Mattel, Inc., leading a wide range of acquisition, strategy, and investor relations initiatives.

Dan holds an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA and BA from UCLA. Dan is also a CFA Charterholder (CFA®). During his free time he enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time with his wife and son.
