I am an educator who tutors a child one-on-one. I have also worked at a junior high school and three universities serving in the areas of education administration, admissions, and recruitment. Additionally, I have served as a senior admissions officer at Northwestern University Medical school.

I am a home educator who homeschools my own child and founded an online homeschool support group. I also write two homeschooling columns, one on the local level and the other on the national level. Additionally, I serve the homeschooling community by compiling free educational resources for K-12 homeschooled students.

I have a child who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, have read and researched over 30 books on autism spectrum disorders, and have also served as an expert witness on a legal case regarding a child with an Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis. I have also written several articles on autism spectrum disorders.
