Business Description: I do not own a business but I still consider myself a businessman. The reason for this is because I have written a book and, even though my publishing company got my book out to many online sites, I have to get my book physically stocked in stores. Currently I have my book stocked in Hastings, am working on Barnes and Noble, and then I will visit Weber State University's bookstore to talk to them about it. After that point, I'm going down to Southern Utah to see if I can stock my book down there. With all of this calling, running around, and bargaining I feel like the owner of a small business.
Degrees: I have my High School Degree from Davinci Academy of Science and The Arts. While there, I received an award for my critical thinking skills in Philosophy and began production of a new philosophical theory which is still being refined today. After that point, I attended Weber State University for one year before deciding that that University was not suited for me. I am currentlly attending Western Governor's University and will obtain my Bachelor's in Accounting very soon so that I can have a stable income while I wait for my books to be picked up by an agent.
My Expertise: Even though I'm only 19, I think I have a very broad range of expertise. We'll start off with anime. I love it. So I watch anime any chance I get but I only watch anime in the original Japanese dubbed with english subs versions. This makes my range of anime even greater simply because I do not have to wait for them to be dubbed and certain meanings of the text lost. It also makes it so that I can readily keep up on new and upcoming anime. In my focus, I stated three things that were similar but different: being published, getting an agent, and setting up book signings. I have experience being published and I've read countless books on the matter. I have applied for numerous agents and realized what I did wrong each time. I've only had trouble with setting up one book signing and set up one quite easily. I have very limited experience with cross dressing since I don't do it everyday for reasons that I will keep to myself. I have done a lot of research and trial and errors that I can readily share with the populace. I am what's known as a Nippophile which simply means that I am obsessed with Japan and everything within Japan. I no longer listen to the radio because I want to listen to Miku Hatsune, Gackt, Unsraw, Chiaki Ishikawa, 19, and other great artists. So I do whatever I can to keep up with popular jpop, jmetal, jrock, and visual kei artists. I am also deeply obsessed with pokemon. I'm counting down the days until Pokemon Black and White releases. To show my nerdom, I can tell you that I know the accuracy and power for about 80% of pokemon moves. I can also watch any movie/episode and tell you what move is being used as well how certain things are being done within the pokemon world.
Experience: I have experience with working with publishing agents to try and get them to sign onto my story, calling stores to stock my book/hold a book signing, my entire life of anime/Japanese music, and my entire life of Pokemon.
