  1. San Francisco, California plays both stage and inspiration for the bevy of restaurants that offer locals and travelers alike a relaxing and delicious brunch. The Bay Area of San Francisco is famous for the high quality of the cuisine available to restaurant goers. Breakfast food may be considered the simplest by some, these rare gems bring the luxury of brunch to another level.

    • Absinthe Brasserie and Bar
The brunch experience at the Absinthe Brasserie and Bar combines a luxurious palette of cheeses and wines with the easy relaxation of out door dining and top quality people watching. Reservations are definitely recommended for diners who have their heart set on caramelized cauliflower flat bread and champagne cocktail from Absinthe.

    • Kate’s Kitchen
The laid back flower children that made San Francisco famous, or infamous, in the 1960’s would feel right at home and have full bellies at the cozy brunch and breakfast spot, Kate’s Kitchen. The homey wood paneling and red and white checkerboard table clothes will convince guests it is actually their mom and grandmother whipping up Kate’s decadent orange spice French toast. Families with small children won’t need to worry about pickier taste buds in the little ones. Who doesn’t love pancakes?

    • Town’s End Restaurant and Bakery
With breath taking Bay views and stellar location close to the Giants’ stadium, it’s not just the mouth watering selections of the brunch menu at Town’s End Restaurant and Bakery that draw daily crowds. The daily offerings at this warm and welcoming morning hot spot vary, but the details that make this place great are always present. Town’s End is the perfect place to sit back, relax and eat your body mass in omelettes.

    • Dottie’s True Blue Cafe
Guests may need to wait a bit during peak weekend brunch hours at Dottie’s, but the homemade pastries and comfort food staples are worth it. After the eggs and pancakes are decided on, adventurous diners will enjoy the kicking flavor of the cafe’s grilled chili cornbread with jalapeño jelly. This left of center selection is not for the faint of heart.

    • EPIC Roasthouse
When someone hears the word ‘brunch’ the first connection most diners make is not usually ‘steakhouse.’ Unless, of course the dinner you ask has been to brunch at the EPIC Roasthouse. EPIC brings brunch right in the steakhouse atmosphere with no reservations. Guests can enjoy a brunch menu that includes hangover cures and breakfast pizza alongside high class oysters and fancy crab cakes Benedict.

    • Foreign Cinema
Combine one part oyster bar with two parts brunch and sprinkle in some art house film style and you get the incomparable experience of a late morning meal at the Foreign Cinema restaurant. Until 3:30 PM one can order fresh, organic eggs prepared in a wide range of appetizing ways. The dishes sound complicated on the menu, but good food is good food no matter how many ingredients are listed next to the price tag. Guests who really fall in love during brunch at Foreign Cinema can come back for nightly screening of independent and foreign films.
