The hope of the Economic Freedom Fighters to win the 2019 elections has been turned down as ANC party led by president Cyril Ramaphosa takes an early lead. ANC is leading by 55% followed by DA with 23% while the noisy EFF led by Julius Malema toils in the third position with 9%.
The counting of votes however is still on progress and the winner is expected to be announced later after the completion of counting the votes.
