  1. Thanksgiving is right around the corner and everyone is planning out their big thanksgiving dinner night with either their family or friends. Turkey is the major part of the thanksgiving dinner, but there are many other thanksgiving side dishes or thanksgiving appetizers ideas which can also go along.     Thanksgiving Appetizer Recipe, Appetizing Deviled Eggs
     
    Serves: 6
    Ingredients
     
    8 Whole White Eggs
    3 tablespoon of Mayonnaise
    2 ½ teaspoon of Black Pepper Powder
    2 teaspoon of Dry Mustard Powder (Substitute Dijon Mustard)
    1/4 cup of finely chopped Green Onion
    1 ½ tablespoon of Lemon Juice
    2 teaspoon of Red Pepper Powder
    Salt, as per Taste

    Directions

    • Place a saucepan on a stove over a high heat. Pour in the water and let it boil.
    • Once it starts to boil, then lower the heat.
    • Put the white eggs in to boil. Let it boil until it becomes hard boiled eggs.
    • When the eggs are properly boiled, drain the excess water. Put it in a wide dish.
    • After it gets little cooler, peel of the outer egg shell.
    • After removing all the egg shell from the eggs, cut them in to two equal parts.
    • Take off the egg yolk from the eggs and put it in to another mixing bowl.
    • While taking off the egg yolk, make sure that you don’t break the egg.
    • Both sides of the eggs should be clean.
    • For the filling, take the egg yolk. Mash it real well before adding any other ingredients.
    • Add mayonnaise, black pepper powder, and dry mustard powder in to the egg yolk mixture. Mix all these ingredients together.
    • Add the finely chopped green onion in to this mixture. This will not only give good color to deviled eggs but would also bring more flavors.
    • Add lemon juice and salt. Blend these two items well with the filling.
    • Take the half part of egg and start filling in the mixture on top of every side with the help of spoon.
    • Garnish it by sprinkling the red pepper powder on top of the deviled eggs.
    • Serve it warm or cold. Keep it at room temperature or refrigerator it before serving.
    Thanksgiving Side Dish Recipe – Stuffed Cheesy Potatoes
     
    Serves: 5
    Ingredients
     
    8 Small Potatoes
    1/4 cup of Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
    1/4 cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
    1 ½ tablespoon of Black Pepper Powder
    2 teaspoon of Dry Ginger Powder
    1/2 tablespoon of Red Pepper’s Flakes
    1/4 cup of Finely Chopped Cilantro
    2 ½ tablespoon of Lemon Juice
    3 tablespoon of Olive Oil
    Salt, as per Taste

    Directions

    • Preheat the oven at 355 degree F.
    • Place a pressure cooker on a stove over a high heat. Pour in the water.
    • Put it in all the small sized potatoes in to the pressure cooker to boil. Cover the lid. If you can’t find small potatoes, you can also use big potatoes. You can cut them in half and then take the middle part out slowly and then use it.
    • Let the pressure cooker whistle for about 2 to 3 times. Let it cool and then only open the lid from the pressure cooker.
    • Don’t overcook the potatoes, otherwise it would be hard to stuff them or use them. Potatoes should be almost cooked, not completely cooked.
    • Drain the hot water out from the potatoes and put them in to cold water.
    • Take the skin off from the potatoes. You can either leave the skin on or take it out. It’s just matter of choice.
    • Cut the front mouth of the potatoes. Gently, start taking out the potato pulp from inside with the help of small spoon or knife.
    • You have to be very careful otherwise you can break the potato. Be gentle.
    • After taking all the pulp out from the potatoes, keep them on a side.
    • For the filling, mash all the potatoes pulp well. There should be no chunk left behind.
    • Add both shredded mozzarella cheese as well as shredded cheddar cheese. Mix it well with mashed potatoes.
    • Add black pepper powder, dry ginger powder, and salt. Combine it with other ingredients.
    • Add red pepper’s flakes and finely chopped cilantro. Pour in the lemon juice as well. Blend all these together.
    • Stuff it in to the potatoes one by one.
    • Grease the baking tray with the help of olive oil. Generously, spread the olive oil on the baking tray.
    • Gently, place all the potatoes on baking tray. Drizzle it with olive oil on top of each potatoes.
    • Lower the temperature in oven from 355 to 350 degree F. Let it cook in the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes as potatoes were almost cooked earlier.
    • Serve it hot. Garnish it with fresh cilantro on top of it.
    Holiday Appetizer – Pumpkin Dip with Fresh Vegetables
     
    Serves: 5 to 6
    Ingredients
     
    1 can of Readymade Pumpkin Pulp
    2 tablespoon of Mayonnaise
    2 tablespoon of Cream Cheese
    2 teaspoon of Dry Mango Powder
    2 teaspoon of Roasted Cumin Powder
    1 ½ teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder
    1/8 cup of Finely Chopped Fresh Chives
    1/ 3 cup of Finely Chopped Fresh Red Pepper
    Salt, as per Taste

    Directions

    • In one big mixing bowl, empty out the readymade pumpkin pulp from the can. You can buy it directly from the store.
    • If you don’t want to buy readymade pumpkin pulp, you can also make it at home.
    • To make pumpkin pulp at home, clean and cut the pumpkin in to small pieces.
    • Boil it until it gets tender. When it gets properly boiled, put it in to blender and blend it until you get the paste like thick texture. Your pumpkin paste or pulp is ready to use for the dip.
    • Add mayonnaise and cream cheese in to this pumpkin pulp. Blend all these ingredients together.
    • Add dry mango powder, roasted cumin powder, and cinnamon powder. Give it a quick stir, so that all these dry ingredients mix well with the mixture.
    • Add finely chopped fresh chives, finely chopped fresh red pepper, and salt. Combine all of them with each other. Green and red color will bring out more beauty to your orange pumpkin dip.
    • Keep it in refrigerator before serving.
    • Serve it cool. Garnish it by sprinkling some of the chopped red pepper on top.
    • Serve it with various seasonal vegetables, such as tomatoes, carrots, celery, broccoli, green pepper, and red or yellow pepper etc.
