I entertain myself and earn some money with my knitting and crochet. Lots of baby blankets, hats, mittens, scarves, ponchos and shawls have sold over the years from my eBay store. I have closed my store, but plan to migrate to Etsy.

I believe in personal independence and avoiding prices that grocery stores are now charging. So, I have a compact greenhouse in my dining area with aquaponic units on each shelf. Appropriate, healthy small plants are growing.

In my younger days, I explored 38 of the 50 states plus a couple of Canadian communities and a few places of interest north of our northern border. I also research information for ex-pats who want to live in less expensive places around the world.
