While at ZIMSEC, I developed the ZIMSEC examination system using ORACLE RDBMS under UNIX environment. I designed Forms and Reports Using Oracle Developer 8i(Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports) and PL/SQL, using Oracle Database 9i as the back-end. I also trained users on the use of new systems. I worked at ZIMSEC from 1997 to June 2008 as a computer Programmer.


 


In July 2008, I joined Reliant Computers. I spent three years as ORACLE Analyst/Developer writing and maintaining their Tobacco sales Floor software applications. In this position, I wrote, maintained and upgraded a database program for tracking, tobacco bales, weighing and billing.


I left Reliant computer in 2010 and joined Zimbabwe Open University. I am currently working at ZOU as an ICT Engineer Software, Systems Support. My duties include providing  high-quality technical support to users,  delivering solutions to both technical and non-technical end users while also supporting a wide range of technologies, taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary, Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention, documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps, Participation in providing training to customers as required.


 I am also in charge of implementing, managing, and delivering IT services to meet the needs of ZOU to ensure that the appropriate mix of people, processes, and technology are in place to provide value.
