Can you blame your Adult actions on your Childhood?

No, I think that you have to learn how to live with what happened in your childhood by not thinking that what you are doing now is because of what you did in your childhood.

You can’t blame your childhood for actions you take as an adult. The reality is that you are better equipped for adulthood,if you developed a secure attachment to your caregivers.A child that experiences multiple traumas actually has as a consequence a brain that is developed and changed based on negative experiences. Its one thing to have all the tools in the tool box ,and its another thing to know how to use them.People whose childhood was differcult , are disadvantaged up to a point. Through life experience they can learn to make choices and take actions that are healthy for them and appropriate.

There is a lot of learning involved here and the choice needs to be made to take actions that are more beneficial. As adults we are responsible for the choices we make, and there are some valid reasons why someone may struggle doing that. Its not an excuse but a fact none the less.
