Physicists presented string theory to describe particle physics appropriately. Superstring theory is a version of string theory that accounts for all particles (bosons and fermions) and also supersymmetry. This theory is used for unifying all forces (especially gravity). String theorists had identified five versions of superstring theory. M-theory is a theory that unifies all consistent versions of superstring theory.

These theories are base on the relativity theory, and they are not inconsistent with it.
