It’s helpful to be able to learn large amounts but for those who struggle with this it’s wise to write it out on a piece of paper and use memory joggers for example: To make coffee I need to; get the cup, sugar, milk and make sure to fill the kettle before boiling. Now the kettles full I need to switch it on to boil it. Next I then need add in the coffee and sugar if I want any then once the kettle has boiled to pour the water in and add the milk if i want any.
To trim something like this down to keywords you can use different colours also. Or place sticky notes with the information you need to remember. For example a note on the fridge could be your key to remembering to put milk in the cup of coffee.
It’s also good to play memory games to improve on your memory and ability to take in information. This can help a great deal. Games are a great way to remember things because it gets you think of that memorable moment which in turn gets you to remember the things you need, Hope this has helped.
