Does hair dye increases risk of cancer?

There have been some studies about it. In 2008 The Working Group of International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) concluded in a report that the chemicals hairdressers and barbers are exposed to are “probably carcinogenic”. Although some studies have link the use of hair dyes with increased risk of certain cancers of the blood and bone marrow, other studies have not found any links about it. There are just a few studies about hair dyes and their relationship with cancer so the IARC concluded that hair dyes are “not classifiable as carcinogenic to humans”. I found this information in the National Cancer Institute web page. There is a lot more information about other risks. Check their page if you are interested.
