Solution for postnasal drip after dental implant?

If it is an oral-antral fistula, as I suspect, I do not know of any that heal on their own. I can’t speak for what may be stuck in your throat, but the visit to the surgeon should tell you what it is. The unpleasant taste is probably your sinus draining into your mouth. Water or air in your mouth not moving up to your sinus is unusual. However, this may be due to a slight positive pressure in your sinus which keeps the water out. I would advise you to have this checked out before you begin your dental work.
