Wix tuned out to be my biggest frustration. I got nearly bankrupt running a eCommerce on Wix. Recently I switched to Joomla and was surprised how fast and user-friendly it is. Wix is easier for me to use, seeing as they help you with updates and support. Its a pleasant way to develop your website, and It’s cheaper and easier to maintain over a long period of time.

If you want to create a good site and you don’t have any HTML\CSS\JS skills, it’s better to choose WordPress (I personally prefer CMS ModX).

Wix is very poor in terms of SEO and Web development. It means that web delopers and seo-specialists won’t be able to put your business on top.

WordPress is very easy to start with and there are many text and video tutorials. And furthermore, it’s free 🙂
