What type of oil does a b&s 5.0 coleman generator take?
I use a straight 30 in mine for the summer time and 10w-30 in the winter. As long as you don’t have cold climate, I would suggest the straight weight oil in high detergent (HD). Change oil often since they have no filters. They tend to run pretty hot so the lighter oil will break down in hot climate. If you don’t have electric start and live where it gets cold, you’ll want to use the split weight oil.
