When Can Toddlers Eat Popcorn?

Popcorn is not a healthy food, so think twice before giving it to your child.

I think that it all depends on the child. My son is 2.5 and I’ve let him have popcorn.  When I first started letting him have it though he was around 1.5 and I noticed that he would wake up in the middle of the night crying, so I think that he was having a hard time digesting it.  It can be rough on little bellies. Just be careful that your child doesn’t eat the hard shells. Those can cause choking.

It depends on child but i started out with puffed corn then moved to regular where I `would leave the big puff side for my toddler to eat and I eat the other. I wouldn’t give it to a toddler right before bed and  for sure not without something to drink.
