A question for budhists: could it be said human existence is basically a manifestation of information?

The nature of our existence has a lot to do with personal perception. Yar, we’re bits of information. Highly advanced energy fields. Imagine a creature that could not see, hear, smell or feel but perceives the universe by means we could not understand. The only way they’d be able to detect us is through machinery. To them we’d be mere blips on a screen, strange anomolies floating around a rock that’s mostly carbon, iron, Nitrogen and Oxygen. Technically when a person dies, there’s not much difference from a live person, plus or minus a few electrical signals.
