A Wurlitzer spinet piano… Are they any good?

At 40″ it should be a console piano, not a spinet. Wurlitzer made okay pianos; not great, but not crap either. If it doesn’t have a drop action (spinet), it should be alright if it has been well cared for. If you’re planning on spending more than a few hundred dollars on this, have a tuner give you an assessment of the instrument before you purchase. … anyone who knows me knows that I’ve been working on a Wurlitzer (1971) spinet that was last tuned in 86. It was not quite a half step flat. The insides are mostly good, I’m replacing lifter “donuts” this week and will tune it again.
