The Add/Remove programs that are a default uninstall program in every Microsoft Windows Operating system is a great tool. But for a program like Avast you will have to do more than just uninstall the program. Although running the Add/Remove programs to uninstall any programs is easy, it does not do a perfect job. It removes the executable files but leaves behind registry files and even files that are corrupt. The result is that when you try to install any other program in place of Avast an annoying message saying that you already have a program installed in your computer comes up. Uninstalling Avast from your computer is nothing but a free lesson into a gamut of error messages because of several unsuccessful attempts.
