Adding a derived class to a base class requires fundamental changes to the base class
There is no such thing as “Adding” a derived class to a base class. You define a base class, then you derive that base class and you may add attributes and functions/methods to it. The new class is the “Derived” class and this process does NOT require changing the base class at all.
