Agonising pain in my underarm, what can i do?
First of all – If in doubt, get it checked out. Your symptoms are acute, and pain under the arm can indicate a wide range of problems. Although it is probably minor, pain is the body’s way of telling us that something is wrong or different. Check for any lumps or swellings that aren’t usually under your arm or around your chest area, take a pain killer, avoid using your arm excessively and book yourself in with the GP. Maybe they can give you a telephone appointment if you can’t make it to the surgery. No harm in checking, that way if there is a problem, it can be treated easily-the earlier the better. Don’t worry!
