• Please turn off (all disconnect) all navigation equipment and re-boot the computer. Please note any error messages on start up of the computer • Re-start SOB, please note any error messages • Start each device and connect it to SOB if required and note any errors and observations • If SOB freezes when a particular device is started it may indicate a hardware failure, cable failure or device driver failure for that device. Re-install the device driver first and re-test. • The freeze may be because SOB is outputting NMEA info for the AutoPilot port/device/hub/adaptor that cannot receive data (or requires hardware handshaking to receive data). Go to the “NMEA Output” page on the “Raw NMEA Data Form” (double-click chart) and disable (untick) all outputs.
