Yes, but you will need to have a MIDI interface connected to the PC/Mac and then you will need to use some sort of software utility to route the data coming from the EWI USB to the MIDI OUT port of the MIDI interface. The Akai EWI USB- when connected- looks just like an ordinary MIDI port on your computer. PC users could use MIDI-OX to route from the EWI to your keyboard. Open Options/MIDI Devices…, and check the Port Mapping window. You should see your keyboard’s output port, and if you open its hieararchy (click on +), you should see USB Audio (your EWI USB), and probably also MIDI-OX Events there. If you don’t see the USB Audio port here, then you need to add a new route. Select your keyboard’s MIDI port in the Port Mapping window, and click on USB Audio in the MIDI Inputs window. It will add a new routing (check if the option Automatically attach Inputs to Outputs during selection is checked). PC users might also try a freeware program called MIDI patch bay VST.
