Am I required to register with the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) and the Credential Assembly Service (CAS)?

Yes. You will need to register with LSAC to sign up for the LSAT. You will also need to register with CAS because we require all undergraduate transcripts to be sent through this service. You can register with CAS by visiting LSAC at www.lsac.org. We prefer, though do not require, that letters of recommendation also be sent through CAS. Alternatively, letters of recommendation may be sent directly to the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid, though this may delay completion of your application.
