Reply Quote Hi Wouterv, Past Coversations: http://openxmldeveloper.org/forums/1400/ShowThread.aspx#1400 Thank you for your input. I am little confused and can really use your help on this. As it says in my earlier post I am trying to implement DITA using WML vocabulary. Essentially, it is required that WordProcessing ML file (XML format) is created programatically (which includes DITA specific elements and attributes). Once created WML file is then sent to authors to modify the content. Problem is all the dita specific attributes and information is lost when author saves the XML file with changes. Seems to me Word re-creates entire WML file again when save action is performed. As you suggested, I did refer “Office Open XML Part 5 – Markup Compatibility and Extensibility.pdf” and made a sample document as per info gained. Sample Mark Up: [Code]
