Angelica root – contra-indicated for pregnant women?
According to Government regulations (in Germany) – Non-medicinals cannot be over 10%. There are only 1.39% non medicinals in the tonics. In 2-4 g per cup of tea Angelica root is contra-indicated, but not in the minute amounts in Floradix. In the tonic there are 18.5 mg of a 33:1 aqueous extract of 9 different plants. Of these angelica is only 0.41%. In this amount, Angelica facilitates the digestive process and digestion of iron.
