Deutsche Bahn is the German national railway system, and the experience of riding the trains in Germany is fantastic. Generally speaking, the system really works: the trains generally run on time, they are clean, and you can get to just about any city, town, or village in the country on them. In the last couple of years, Deutsche Bahn has greatly improved the English sections of their website. Also, they have simplified their fare structure (it used to be very easy, and then DB started a very complicated new system, which was very unpopular in Germany).
