Any tips for cleaning my PVD Brushed Nickel finish or PVD Polished Brass finish faucet?
Hey, giving tips is what we’re all about. If your faucet has a Brushed Nickel finish, it was developed using Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD). This process embeds brushed nickel molecules deep into the faucet’s surface, creating a bond that is virtually indestructible. However, failure to give the proper care for the finish can cause damage and may void the warranty. After every use, it is always best to wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spotting and mineral build-up. Don’t clean your faucet with abrasive pads, like those green Scotch-Brite® heavy-duty scrub sponges. We also recommend that you clean and wax your faucet regularly, using an aerosol furniture polish or floor paste wax. In general, most common household cleaners meet the criteria for cleaning any PVD finish product. But you should avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls.
