Any tips for installing the TSO HELP members?
Unless locally customised, the supplied REVIEW# member should be copied to the appropriate SYSHELP concatenation library with a member name of ‘REVIEW’ and aliases of ‘REV’, ‘REVED’ and ‘REVVSAM’, so only one copy of the member contents physically exists in the HELP library. The RENAME command can be used to assign aliases but it requires exclusive access to the library. Unless you have a method available which can assign aliases to members with shared allocation, you may need to use an intermediate data set to create the desired member structure before copying the member and aliases into the permanent HELP library. Ensure you are familiar enough with ISPF option 3.3 to be able to copy members and aliases without creating “orphan” aliases. REVIEW can be used to check that aliases have the same TTRs as the real member. The same considerations apply to the TSO HELP of the ‘FSHELP’ command.
