Anybody have any advice on building a spaghetti tower?

Use truss construction. You will make the tower with vertical, horizontal, and diagonal pieces. Place a two vertical members flat on the table.as far apart as you want them to be. Cut two horizontal members to just fit between them. Place them on the table, now cut a diagonal member to just fit from the inside of one corner to the inside of the opposite corner. Now tape them all together and you have one bit of the truss. There should be three of maybe four horizontal members per each two vertical members.. Keep your vertical members as long as possible. If you are going higher than the length of the spaghetti put the ends of your vertical members together then tape them. Do not make a lap joint where the two pieces of spaghetti overlap by a half inch or so. they might slip. If you keep the ends together (tip to tip) and the tape tight they can’t slip past each other. Also keep the ends flat. You might look for some heat shrink tubing to keep the ends tight together.
