Apple Stores: What are the benefits of from buying from an Apple physical store versus online?
This will mostly pertain to non-techies. Apple stores offer a program called One to One. Upon purchase of a computer, you’re offered this for $99. You get one full year of personal help from an AppleStore “creative” or “expert”. These guys have received Apple certification in certain things (there’s one for every iLife and iWork app, as well as all their Pro apps). You can schedule a 50 minute block of time where they’ll sit down with you and answer any questions you have regarding any subject on the Mac. There’s also “Personal Projects”, where you can bring in your, well, personal project, and one of those guys will sit down with you and help you out with any specific questions you have (like, say, how to edit this or that a certain way in final cut pro).
