Creationists make me weary, not so much because of what they believe as their insistence that they can overrule what public education teaches. . Honestly they seem to just want to fight. If they’re worried about what their children are taught they have ample time to explain to the little dears that they’re going to have to learn some things is school as ‘true’ in order to pass school tests but certain things that the church teaches are true regardless of the class and the tests. . Insisting that schools do their dirty work for them or aid them by never gainsaying them is ludicrous and embarrassing and most of all is a virtual admission that their beliefs are untenable in the first place.
