Are 8,000 year old trees growing bigger in Sweden more evidence of global warming?
I haven’t seen the story, but if trees at high latitude are growing larger, it’s probably related to higher CO2 levels in the atmosphere (trees are “made of” CO2). It’s the increasing CO2 that’s believed to be the main cause of warming. Warmer temperatures might also allow a longer growing season for the trees.
