Burms are generally nice as long as they have a FULL stomach. That means mice for the first month or two,then small rats,then when 6 or 7 months old 2or 3 large rats a week. When they are 12 to14 months old they are ready to start on rabbits.Your 2 year old snake will be 10 to 12 feet long and it has a potential to live about 20 years and grow to 18 to 20 feet. They are not a good pet for the average person. They should not be handled by only one person after they are 10 to 12 feet long, because if IF something should go wrong the snake could kill you.
