Are all Career Ladder teachers and candidates required to have higher-level instructional responsibilities?

0

Teachers that are on Levels I and II are not required to have higher-level instructional responsibilities other than the required CSO classes. Teachers applying for or continuing on Levels III and IV are required to earn a specific number of hours annually. This allows teachers to develop and share knowledge and expertise in one or more of the focus areas. The number of hours progressively becomes more challenging as the teacher moves up the ladder. The requirements become more and more focused toward developing strong teacher leaders within CUSD.
