Are ancient egyptians magical?
Those are quite a lot of assumptions you’re making about ancient Egyptian life. First off, they had plenty of food and water. Check out Google Earth’s images of Egypt. That band of emerald green in the middle of the desert is the Nile and its banks. The area immediately around the Nile is incredibly fertile, or at least used to be. They dammed it up and stopped the yearly floods that deposited the rich silt. Egypt was a very rich country because of the river- they had plenty of food, and the river for fresh water. No one survives long in the Sahara without both, particularly water. They also did not spend all their time making pyramids. The huge building projects in Egypt were actually a very effective way to keep the farmers busy during the three or so months a year the Nile was flooded. They clearly couldn’t farm, what with their fields being flooded, and there’s nothing more dangerous to an absolute monarchy than a bunch of peasants hanging out with nothing to do. They certainly had
Whether or not the Egyptians had any occult or psionic abilities or magic most of their “magic” can be explained by their mastery of basic chemistry and geometry being applied to engineering problems. Sorry but the latest archaeological research shows that the pyramids are most probably the result of a willing to experiment with big buildings and good organizational skills. As for “staying out in the sun all day” the aristos had headdresses and sunshelters whereas, as clearly shown in several wall paintings, the poor peasants got sunburnt!
