Are any team members economists?
Yes, several members hold advanced degrees in economics or have served as professional economists in government agencies, academia, or other institutions. For example, the President and CEO of CCS served as an economist with EPA from 1991 to 2001, has done extensive graduate work in the field, and serves as adjunct faculty at a major university. A lead macroeconomic modeler holds a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell University, has held tenured and non-tenured positions at leading universities. A transportation and land use specialist served as a transportation economist for both EPA and the U.S. Government Accountability Office, and an energy supply specialist holds a diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and served as a staff economist for the State of Massachusetts. This partial list provides an indication of the credentials that the CCS team provides to meet the needs of state policy planners on economics issues.
