Uh… no. Indian race is not very close to Caucasion race. It’s more closer to Mongolian race, due to Ghengis Khan’s conquest of India… but even that’s not enough to say that Indian race resembles Mongolian race. Same concept applies to Africans. The only time when Indians and Africans met is when they were trading… It’s a lot safe to say that Indian race is unique like many other races. We aren’t talking about Balkans here…
Yes, Indians are Caucasian. The name refers to the Caucasus Mountains. Caucasian people originated from the mountain area which is roughly is situated from eastern Europe, North Africa, the area we currently refer to as the Middle East (Iran, Iraq and extending onto northern India/Pakistan and southeastern Baltic states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey).
