Answer Hi William, I am not sure where you received that information concerning Baptists, but that is not correct. Baptists are indeed Protestants. There is a fringe group of extreme Baptists who refuse to wear the Protestant label, but this is definitely a minority view. I am assuming you understand where the term Protestant comes from.
