Are big plywood signs with “jesus is the reason for the season” in spray paint tacky or nice?

I know that “reason” and “season” rhyme, and that it’s a catchy phrase, but I think “keep Christ in Christmas” makes more sense. I am not Christian, but I empathize, because I have a holy day at this time of year too, and I wouldn’t care for people to bundle it up with all of theirs and pretend it’s just a part of their big old jolly excuse for excess. My holy day is not about gift giving etc, and really doesn’t fit in with the cultural emphasis at this time of year. I don’t think it’s tacky for you to express your beliefs as you choose on your property, but spray paint and plywood may not be the nicest way to honor an important holy day. If the religious aspect is significant to you, perhaps you might find a more tasteful way to honor your Lord.
