Should the government interfere with the speech of one group because someone might disagree with that group’s speech? Most would say no. Most would state that the government should neither censor nor put pressure to stifle speech that one disagrees with. I totally agree with this assessment and would hope that one day all Americans would accept it. Unfortunately, that day is not today. In Rancho Cucomonga, Calif., a Humanist group put up on a billboard a sign that stated, “Imagine No Religion.” Now, I will grant this is a sign that most Americans would disagree with. Most would state that they believe that religion is a good thing for America. But the larger issue of this story was that the City government of Rancho Cucomonga received (as they report) 90 calls in protest to this sign. Now, if people were offended by this sign they had several options. They could have ignored the sign; they could have put up funding for their own sign or they could have even protested to the billboard c
