Are birds killed for their feathers???

Yepp. There’s no way to get enough feathers off a bird to make clothing without killing it. I mean honestly, birds really don’t drop that many feathers unless they get shot or something. And like what some people have said before, you could try peacock feathers because they’re prettier and you don’t have to shoot one to get the feathers. And if you’re stuck on using brown, you could always use faux feathers. The kinds they ave in craft stores. They make some very realistic looking.
