Are Cows native to North America?
If you mean cows as in domestic cattle, they’re not native to anywhere – they don’t exist in the wild. They are a man-made species, created by taming and selectively breeding the aurochs, a now-extinct species which was found in Europe. However, the females of various species are referred to as cows – in North America these include bison, moose, elk and caribou.
