Are credit cards or travelers checks accepted?

Credit cards are accepted by most larger businesses around the island, but a service fee may be charged. Smaller businesses and some restaurants accept cash only. Traveler’s checks are not accepted everywhere, but we can usually make arrangements for cashing traveler’s checks in limited amounts.
