Are CTG funds available if they are being used for, or paired with, other federal grant programs (e.g., building suburb trails using Federal Surface Transportation Program grants)?
Funds received under this announcement should supplement and not supplant ongoing activities (not including time-limited, ARRA –funded activities), see page 60 of the FOA. Leveraging other resources and related ongoing efforts to promote sustainability is strongly encouraged. Examples include complementary foundation funding, other U.S. government funding sources including programs supported by other agencies such as the Corporation for National and Community Services, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Education, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Transportation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Park Service, and the other funding sources. Applicants should also coordinate with multiple sectors, such as transportation, education, health care delivery, agriculture, and others. Also refer to Pages 9 and 17 of the FOA.
