Are Descriptive & Statistical Analysis the Same?
Are descriptive analysis and statistical analysis the same? The answer to that question depends on the type of data being analyzed and the nature of the study. The most basic form of statistical analysis is descriptive, but advanced analytical methods enable the statistician or researcher to go beyond description. Some descriptive analyses, meanwhile, involve the use of qualitative, rather than statistical, data and methods.
