Are Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Anaheim alike or different?
Similar, but different. Paris’ castle is a fantasy representation of Sleeping Beauty’s castle rather than Anaheim’s more realistic-looking one, simply because Europe is dotted with actual castles. Paris Tomorrowland is Jules Verne inspired. Anaheim’s Tomorrowland is set in a distant future (when it was originally built, that future was 1985). Paris’ Phantom Manor tells a story of a young bride jilted at the altar, while Anaheim’s Haunted Mansion is a retirement home for ghosts. I’m sure there are other differences, those are just the ones that popped into my head.
