A. Yes. Documents related to construction problems and anomalous conditions discovered during construction are required by 10 CFR 63.72. Reports of deficiencies in the site, the design or the construction of the repository are required by 10 CFR 63.73. Reports on conditions adverse to quality, such as failures, malfunctions, deficiencies, deviations, defective material and equipment, and nonconformances, are required by 10 CFR 63 Subpart G. DOE is also required to establish a corrective action program to assure that conditions adverse to quality are properly identified and corrected. Measures must be established to ensure that the cause of any such condition is correctly determined. And the corrective action documented and reported to management.
