A. Yes. Special processes such as welding, heat treating and non-destructive testing are required to be controlled and accomplished by qualified personnel in accordance with 10 CFR 63 Subpart G. Requirements for the control of special processes are described in Section 2.5.1.3 Acceptance Criterion 9 of the Yucca Mountain Review Plan.
