Paul Harvey once raved about the space heaters on his radio program, and many consumers have written glowing reviews.On the Other: Consumer Reports Pans ThemConsumer Reports has very little in the way of positive feedback for EdenPure’s space heaters (as of 2009), giving the GEN3 1000 average or low marks in every single category and an overall score lower than any other space heater tested. The report also points out that the GEN3 1000 is priced at $400–more than 10 times what you could pay for space heaters they say are more efficient and effective.Bottom LineConsidering the relatively high price and shaky results from Consumer Reports, it’s hard to imagine buying EdenPure’s top-of-the-line GEN3 1000.
